SOLAR ECLIPSE IN LEO — 12th August
On 12th August the Moon passes between us and the Sun at 20 degrees Leo. It’s a total solar eclipse. Leo last had one in 1999. It sits near the South Node, so it ends things rather than starting them. Whatever it closes stays closed.
Leo rules identity and being seen. Expect a moment of “I can’t keep doing this for the applause.”
Who feels it most: anyone with planets or angles around 15-25 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus or Scorpio. Everyone else feels the shift, just less directly.
Venus in Libra, Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius are all sitting at 3-5 degrees, forming an air grand trine, with Mercury and Neptune each connecting into it. Air signs mean ideas, communication and people. A grand trine moves easily, so change here comes through conversations, new connections and rethinking rather than through conflict. It gives you a way to process what the eclipse ends without everything falling apart.
Don’t force decisions on the day itself. Let it show you what’s already finished, then act once it settles.
