Mars moves into Aries

Mars returns to Aries on 9th April 2026, and with it comes a surge of forward-moving energy.
This is Mars in its own sign, unfiltered, instinctive, and direct. There is no waiting here, no careful deliberation. This is the part of you that knows, acts, and deals with the consequences later. After periods of emotional processing or slower momentum, this shift feels immediate. Like something within you has been switched back on.
This is a call to step into your own authority and to move. Not when you feel ready, but because something within you recognises that the moment has arrived.
For those with Sun, Moon or Rising signs being activated by this ingress and particularly if you hold planets at or around 0° of any sign this lands as a point of initiation. Zero degrees is the anaretic beginning of the zodiac cycle, where energy is at its most pure and unconditioned. Mars crossing this point acts as a trigger.
You may feel a sudden urge to begin again in some area of your life. To take control where you have previously hesitated. To assert yourself more clearly, even if it feels uncomfortable.
